The Wedi Fundo round is a great example of all round comfort. It simply transforms a normal shower into a feature, and with a diameter of around just one metre can easily fit into most bathrooms.
The unit provides the firm supporting structure on which to create the mood and atmosphere that tiles can bring. First, install the circular base unit with either the horizontal or vertical drain in accordance with the appropriate fixing instructions.
The circular wall sections are pre-grooved to accept a tilebacker board fillet which should be glued into the slot in the wall section. The sections are joined together with a PU or hybrid sealing adhesive.
In situations where the round shower wall abutts an adjacent wall, to assist in tiling a cut wedge of wedi building board can be bonded in place using a PU or hybrid sealing adhesive between the wall and the shower partition wall.
The round Fundo is now ready for tiling with a maximum format of 5 x 5cm tile.
