In 1965 Mr Brian Taylor set up an import, retail and installation company for ceramic tiles. Over the following 40 years his company became a market leader in the supply and installation of tiles within the UK, formally known as Taylor Tiles.
In the late 1990’s Brian’s daughter an interior designer with 17 years of experience, became a consultant for the group offering design advice on product ranges and on their retail showroom layouts. As with many family businesses, Lesley soon found this part time role grew and she then became fully employed by the company.
In 2004 Brian Taylor decided it was time to enjoy a little more free time and his daughter Lesley and her husband Kevin purchased the company. Whilst Taylor Tiles holdings Ltd continues to service commercial and trade customers across the UK, it was decided to create a new retail brand for the company. Taylor’s Etc is home to Taylor Tiles showroom, together with an expanded range of allied products.
Over the last few years Taylor Tiles Holdings Ltd has evolved to offer some of the most dynamic products currently available to Architects, Commercial Designers and Retail customers.
The company is proud to boast some very prestigious clients. These include BMW UK Ltd, The Ford Motor Company, The Big Brother House for Channel 4, Habitat stores together with major House Builders and Developers.
